I grew up in Wisconsin and then smartened up & moved to Phoenix for the weather. I hate snow and ice. Unless it's hockey ice.

I love being able to watch hockey in 90 degree weather. Fan-freaking-tatic! Unless you try wearing a jersey in 90 degree weather.

I have the best of both worlds.

I also love music and marry my two obsessions. I try making song lyrics/titles part of every blog post and sometimes make up songs about hockey.

Wow, just wow. This was the Coyotes I knew were in there. They beat the Stars 5-2. It would have been 5-0 but they let up a bit in the third and the rookie dman made the same mistake (twice) allowing the Stars to score.

Korpo was on FIRE tonight with 2 goals; he also earned the number one star of the game. Way to go! I knew you had it in you, just needed to figure out how to get it out of ya! Apparently there is some amazing chemistry between Korpo, Lombo and Uppy. Combined they had 8 points. Holy shit! At least there is Tippett. If it was Gretz, those 3 would be broken up half way through the second...

The old man bromance is boosting the play of Lang and Doan. They each had a point tonight and were playing like crazy men! Adrian wanted in the club, so he scored a goal too. Jovo was apparently sad he was not accepted into the brotherhood and left the game early.

In all seriousness, Jovo, Fiddy and Mueller all left the game and did not return. No word on their status.

Turco was pulled from the game and in came Auld. It was awesome. I love Turco and all but I'm glad it wasn't Bryz.

Boedker was back. He played fairly well for when he was out there. He played with Doan and Mueller. He got an assist and had the crunch of the game. Welcome back Boeds. I hope you stay awhile!

Vandermeer, Pyatt and Bissonnette were the scratches, all apparently healthy. Bissonnette was out for warmups, while Vandy and Pyatt didn't even dress. Not sure if they were being "punished" or just rested. We really didn't need Bissonnette. The boys took care of themselves. No fights.

Next up is the Ducks on Sunday. Its not on tv so I will probably go to Yotesgurls to watch it on CI. Then home again on Thursday. Flames. Eeks! Hopefully we can play better then we did for the game in Calgary.

Oh and you can meet Lombo and Uppy on 12/8. I can't. I have to go to school. I told Doug Moss no more player appearances on Tuesdays but he apparently didn't listen. Ugh. I wanted to meet Lombo.
